Electrical Engineering Internship Opportunity
A dynamic internship is available for students and recent graduates in the electrical engineering field. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in designing and manufacturing electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing cost estimates for switchboard manufacturing projects by gathering information on material costs, labor, and time required.
* Research and calculate the required quantities of components and materials for each project.
* Evaluate project specifications and designs to identify potential cost-saving measures.
* Ensure that estimates align with the company's pricing structure and profit margins.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Design electrical circuits and switchboard layouts using CAD software.
* Create and modify electrical designs, draft technical schematics for switchboard assemblies, and test electrical systems.
* Inspect and ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and document test results.
* Support engineers in developing new switchboard products and provide feedback on their performance.
Requirements:
* Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Strong understanding of electrical principles and theories.
* Experience with circuit design and analysis tools, proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
