About This Role
This Senior Staff Specialist position will be responsible for delivering high-quality cardiology services, including diagnostic and procedural services. Our multidisciplinary team adopts a patient-centered approach, working collaboratively to deliver comprehensive care that meets the needs of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist cardiology services, including Echocardiography, Stress Imaging, Cardiac Computed Tomography, Heart Failure Services, and Chest Pain Assessment Services
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients with suspected or established cardiac conditions
* Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of cardiology
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, eligible for registration with the relevant medical board
* Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Specialist Cardiologist (or equivalent)
* Non-Invasive Cardiac Imaging subspecialty training with accreditation in Level 2 Adult Echocardiography as per CSANZ requirements (or equivalent)
* Evidence of active participation in a Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD)
* Demonstrated clinical and academic research skills and experience
