Job Role: Senior Associate Aquatic Ecologist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced aquatic ecologist to join our team as a senior associate. The successful candidate will have expertise in freshwater ecology and the ability to lead and contribute to projects across various environments.
Job Description:
The role involves designing, leading and contributing to projects that focus on achieving timely and high-quality outcomes in freshwater environments. This includes undertaking fieldwork, data analysis and report writing.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also possess a strong passion for aquatic ecology and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Requirements:
* Relevant bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
* 5 years' experience as an aquatic ecologist, biologist, zoologist or water quality specialist.
* Excellent data analysis skills using uni- and multivariate techniques.
* Proven ability to prepare reports to a high standard.
* Experience in project management including budgeting and client liaison.
* Drivers Licence is essential.
