We are seeking an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Office Manager with bookkeeping experience to join our team long term.
Role Summary
The Office Manager / Accounts plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of Slew West Pty Ltd. This position is responsible for managing administrative and financial functions of the business, including bookkeeping, payroll, client communication, and scheduling support. The role requires a highly organised, proactive individual who can work independently and support both the field crew and management team.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding new clients
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Issue invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
Prepare and lodge BAS, superannuation, PAYG, My Leave.
Meeting with external accountant as needed, quarterly at a minimum – Neerabup.
Office & Operations
Onboarding new employees
Manage employee timesheets Vs PODs
Provide administrative support to the Team.
Manage insurance, registrations, and documentation for company vehicles and equipment.
Skills & Experience
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Proven experience in a similar role (office admin/bookkeeping)
Proficiency with accounting software Xero
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
Good written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with payroll, superannuation, and basic HR administration
Basic HR knowledge or experience
Previous experience in the construction, transport or crane hire industry
