Gardener – Woodlands
Godolphin has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gardener to join our team at Woodlands Stud Farm, located in the Hunter Valley, NSW.
Reporting to the Head Gardener, this position is responsible for the care and maintenance of the stud's gardens, landscaped areas, lawns, and outdoor recreational spaces across the site. Working across all areas of the stud farm, the role plays a key part in ensuring the property is consistently presented to a high standard, meeting both company expectations and visitor experience requirements.
The successful applicant will be an organised, efficient, and driven individual with strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic, with a willingness to go above and beyond and take pride in their role.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain gardens, lawns, landscaped areas and surrounds across the stud to a high presentation standard
Operate and care for gardening equipment and irrigation systems, including mowing, pruning, hedging and seasonal works.
Monitor plant and turf health, undertaking planting, weed, pest and disease control as required.
Support the Head Gardener by maintaining safe work practices and actively contributing to site presentation.
About You
A genuine passion for horticulture and a keen eye for detail
Horticulture Qualifications (preferred but not essential)
Minimum of three years' practical experience in a similar role (preferred)
Current Chemical Certificate (preferred but not essential)
