Your Team While reporting directly in to the CFS Boards, the Internal Audit (IA) team is part of Colonial First State’s Finance & Fund Services business. The team is responsible for reviewing business processes and controls in line with CFS’s risk appetite, evaluating risk management practices and supporting the improvement of internal controls and governance This is a key position supporting the Executive Director, Internal Audit in leading and managing the Internal Audit team. Your Responsibilities Assist the Executive Director, Internal Audit to deliver the annual CFS Internal Audit plan. Performing review, challenge and quality assurance activities on end-to-end audits to ensure they are delivered to a high quality and in a timely manner. Day-to day guidance and supervision of a team of professional auditors. Lead and/or execute operational audit activities including budget management, resource scheduling etc. Lead the development and regular refresh of the risk based annual CFS Internal Audit plan. Ongoing development and maturity uplift of the Internal Audit function. Including contributing thought leadership to enable ongoing uplift of the internal audit methodology and integration with leading internal audit practice. Your Capability and Experience Extensive internal audit experience in the Financial Services industry (experience in wealth management and/or investments industries will be highly regarded) Understanding of strategic, financial and operational process risks and controls impacting the superannuation and investment industry (highly regarded) Proven ability to facilitate the timely and effective execution of internal audit plans People leadership capability Strong communication and influencing skills Ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at various levels What to Expect At CFS, you'll be working among the very best in the wealth management industry.
