With presence in every department, we analyse performance, and deliver actionable insights that shape our strategic decisions.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Analyst to join our Finance Analytics & Enablement team. This role will see you deliver accurate and timely reporting to senior stakeholders, supporting the analytical roadmap, and aiding with automation using TM1, PowerBI and Snowflake based solutions.You will also provide analytical support to your business partners and the wider finance team, building strong stakeholder partnerships and relationships through influencing key stakeholders to support commercial outcomes.You will also:Drive and deliver Supermarkets performance reporting and the automation of reports using PowerBI and SnowflakeProactively support efficient and accurate month-end processes within MerchandiseSupport stakeholders across the Business Units in the development and implementation of transformational changes to our commercial insightsDeliver initiatives to help the Merchandise teams better understand business performanceBuild, develop and maintain dashboards including data models and performance metrics that provide valuable insights and supports key business decisionsSupport broader Finance Analytics & Enablement team with ad hoc and project-based workPartner with business units to understand their businesses, stakeholder expectations, priorities, and challenges in relation to existing reporting/systems/processesAbout you and your skillsSuccess in this role will require advanced Excel skills to analyse and summarise high volumes of data, coupled with advanced PowerPoint skills to effectively present findings. You will also have experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports to clearly communicate data insights, and possess a flexible, dynamic working style with the ability to adapt to changing stakeholder requirements quickly and effectively.You'll also ideally have:Ability to deliver accurate reporting to senior stakeholders across Supermarkets.Strong experience using transactional environment including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications, TM1, PowerBI and SnowflakeAbility to simplify a complex financial story and communicate effectively to operatorsExceptional analytical and insight skills (strong Excel/modelling skills)Good influencing, partnering skills and commercial mindsetProcess management and improvement experience What's in it for you?
