Astronautical Engineer Opportunity
Are you a highly skilled and experienced engineer looking for a challenging role in rocket propulsion systems? We have an exciting opportunity for an Astronautical Engineer to join our team.
As an Astronautical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing hydrogen peroxide production processes, preparing and reviewing process design documents, specifying and evaluating process equipment, and ensuring process safety through HAZOP studies and risk assessments.
You will also collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and propulsion engineers to integrate process systems into plant layout and ensure alignment between engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
Additionally, you will maintain documentation of all designs, drawings, and test plans, manage project phases, develop and control project budgets, schedules, and resource plans, and coordinate with suppliers and regulatory agencies to ensure timely project delivery.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Process or Chemical Engineering, experience with catalysts and electrochemical production, working experience in a processing facility handling dangerous goods, and ability to obtain NV1 Security Clearance.
Desirable qualifications include experience with distillation, Hydrogen Peroxide, Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), and ability to rapidly change goals while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment.
