A dynamic and experienced leader is required to manage youth justice services in a regional government department in Mackay, Queensland.
The successful candidate will oversee operations, manage resources, and develop culturally appropriate service responses that meet the needs of young people and the community.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing the day-to-day management of youth justice services
* Managing staff and resources to achieve strategic objectives
* Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve service delivery
* Collaborating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to develop culturally sensitive programs
The ideal candidate will have a C Class driver's licence and demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and guide teams. Regional travel may be required as part of this role.
