We also offer a distinguished learning platform—combining expert knowledge and tailored development—to support your growth in a culture that celebrates excellence, sophistication, and personal ambition.Job DescriptionAssist in formulating and driving the MICE strategy for the hotel and communicate this strategy to the team.Develop and implement comprehensive strategic and tactical plans for business development, income generation, and profit maximization.Organize conferences, events, and group accommodations from confirmation to post-event follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.Prepare banquet event orders, rooming lists, movement and action plans, and other relevant paperwork to communicate client/guest needs effectively.Follow up on conference and group accommodation proposals for direct clients and department needs.Assist with revenue forecasting and communicate group and MICE forecasts, along with action plans to maximize hotel capacity and venue use.Collaborate with the Director of Revenue, Director of Sales, and Director of Marketing to achieve optimal RevPAR, revenue, and yield results across all segments.Support the Reservations Department to ensure service delivery aligns with sales strategies for achieving revenue targets.Prepare monthly Sales and Marketing reports reflecting market intelligence and adjustments to marketing plans.Monitor business peaks and troughs, contributing innovative ideas to enhance revenue and profitability.Maximize revenue from corporate, wholesale, and MICE clients through cross-selling and up-selling hotel products, including restaurants.Promote a workplace culture aligned with our values.Encourage open communication across departments.Support change management with empathy and clarity.Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, feedback culture, and goal-setting practices.Assist in performance reviews and employee development plans.QualificationsHighly motivated with excellent attention to detail.Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with corporate clients, wedding planners, vendors, and others.Maintain a professional appearance, representing the Sofitel brand.Minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership role.5-10 years of experience in event planning, conference services, or banquet operations.Proven track record managing large-scale events, conferences, and high-profile clients.Additional InformationIf you share our passion for hospitality, service excellence, innovation, and drive, we would love to hear from you!Our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company committed to attracting, recruiting, and promoting diverse talent.
