Member Services Officer
As a vital part of our team, the Member Services Officer will serve as the initial point of contact for current and potential members.
This role involves supporting membership and credentialing, maintaining the member database, and assisting with administrative tasks to drive member engagement, retention, and deliver excellent service across all communication channels.
* Manage inbound/outbound member communications via phone, email, and online platforms.
* Oversee the full membership lifecycle: communications, renewals, database updates, and payment processing.
* Ensure database accuracy and suggest process improvements.
* Address membership inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
* Monitor website/database performance and report anomalies.
* Guide members through credentialing and re-credentialing.
* Assist with member materials, recruitment, and retention strategies.
* Generate membership and service reports for management.
* Provide administrative support, including event coordination.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Exceptional communication, customer service, organisational, and time-management skills, including record-keeping and efficient phone and email correspondence management.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Skilled in data interpretation and reporting.
* Experience with databases and computer programs.
* Experience in not-for-profit/member organisations.
* Proficient in data entry and analysis.
* Familiarity with iMIS Enterprise Management System; Certified iMIS User.
* Knowledge of privacy and data breach laws (or willingness to learn).
