About The Role
This newly established senior role provides advanced clinical expertise and leadership in physiotherapy services across our Care Communities. You will play a key role in supporting residents to maintain mobility, independence, and quality of life through evidence-based assessment and intervention, while mentoring staff and driving service development.
In This Role You Will
* Deliver advanced physiotherapy assessments and interventions for older adults
* Lead falls prevention, pain management and restorative care initiatives
* Mentor and supervise junior physiotherapists and students
* Support service development, quality improvement and clinical governance
* Act as a delegate for the Clinical Manager when required
* Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to achieve person-centred care outcomes
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based care
* Oversee caseloads and guide junior staff to ensure quality service delivery
* Lead clinical governance, quality improvement and evaluation projects
* Drive service innovation and contribute to research opportunities
* Foster strong communication across multidisciplinary and management teams
* Positively promote Grampians Health services and uphold organisational values
Skills & Experience
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
* Minimum 7 years' clinical experience, ideally in aged care or geriatric rehab
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a collaborative approach
* Advanced knowledge of aged care standards, falls prevention and rehabilitation
* Experience leading service development and quality improvement projects
