Demand Planner
Role Overview
We are seeking an analytical and operationally strong Demand Planner to own demand forecasting, inventory planning, and logistics execution across a multi-market supply chain. This role will manage inventory across internal warehouses, 3PLs, and Amazon FBA locations, oversee freight booking and carrier relationships, and maintain inventory accuracy within Cin7 as the primary planning and inventory management system.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Forecasting, Data Analysis & Retail Planning
* Develop and maintain demand forecasts across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels using historical sales, statistical models, and business inputs
* Analyze retail demand drivers including promotions, seasonality, new product launches, and customer-specific trends
* Monitor forecast accuracy and perform variance and root-cause analysis by channel and market
* Analyze sell-in, sell-through, and inventory performance to improve allocation and replenishment decisions
* Build dashboards and KPI reporting to track forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and retail performance
Inventory Management (Multi-Market, 3PL & FBA)
* Manage inventory across all markets, 3PL partners, and Amazon FBA locations
* Plan replenishment, transfers, and inventory positioning to meet service level and working capital targets
* Identify and mitigate stockout, overstock, and obsolescence risks
Inventory Systems & Cin7 Ownership
* Maintain and manage inventory data within Cin7, ensuring accuracy across all locations and channels
* Set and maintain SKUs, lead times, reorder points, safety stock, and planning parameters
* Reconcile inventory between Cin7, 3PLs, and Amazon FBA; investigate and resolve variances
* Support ongoing system improvements, integrations, and reporting within Cin7
Freight & Logistics Coordination
* Book and manage inbound and outbound freight aligned with demand and inventory plans
* Maintain relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and logistics service providers
* Monitor freight performance, lead times, and costs; resolve delivery issues
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement
* Partner with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align plans
* Support operational process changes and continuous improvement initiatives
