This is a pivotal leadership position in the design and accreditation of our Master of Nurse Practitioner program, set to launch in 2027. In this role you will: Lead the curriculum design, development, and accreditation process for the Master of Nurse Practitioner program. Integrate scholarly research and evidence-based practice into course content and delivery. Coordinate units and collaborate with colleagues to ensure pedagogical excellence. Mentor academic staff and contribute to the broader goals of the School of Nursing. SELECTION CRITERIA About You We are looking for a forward-thinking academic with a passion for education, a deep understanding of the nurse practitioner role, and the leadership skills to drive the success of a new program. Endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner. A doctoral qualification in relevant discipline (or equivalent accreditation and professional standing). Demonstrated high level teaching skills with a reflective approach to teaching delivery. A strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice. Leadership skills with the ability to lead teaching and learning initiatives and provide mentoring to less experienced staff. A contribution to scholarship in teaching and learning. Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and unit/course coordination. An emerging record of peer reviewed publications in high quality journals. Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal and organisational skills with a commitment to the development of a collegial and supportive working environment and the ability to interact with students and staff with cross cultural sensitivity.
