Council has a temporary assignment for a Governance Manager
Start date: ASAP
Term: Up to 6 months, with extensions if required
Working arrangements: Ideally on-site full time, flexible working arrangement may be considered after a 4 month review
Covid policy: Council requires compliance with guidance from NSW Government (Health) but require all staff to ensure they are well and enabled for work - not infectious and in terms of COVID testing negative prior to returning to the workplace.
Accommodation and Travel:
* Self-contained basic accommodation is provided during the assignment.
* You will be reimbursed for the direct travel costs to Council for the start and back home at the end of the assignment.
Purpose of the Position:
The Manager Governance reports to the Project Director and is responsible for the governance oversight of Council's Road reconstruction project. The role will facilitate engagement with key stakeholders as required and will provide technical and governance advice and actively address risks relating to Safety, Quality, Environment, Financial, reputation and resourcing.
