About the role
As our Lifestyle Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping vibrant, resident‐centred wellbeing programs and leading a passionate team of lifestyle therapists to bring meaningful experiences to life. You'll inspire and coordinate staff and volunteers, elevate the quality of therapeutic activities, and champion a truly person‐centred approach guided by the Positive Wellbeing Model of Care.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and support lifestyle therapy staff to deliver meaningful activities.
* Assess resident needs and develop person‐centred lifestyle care plans.
* Design, deliver and evaluate individual, small‐group and large‐group activity programs.
* Coordinate resources, schedules and volunteer involvement to support daily operations.
* Support residents to participate, build connections and enhance their wellbeing.
* Review and update lifestyle plans to ensure they continue to meet resident needs.
About you
Our ideal candidate has:
* Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
* Light Rigid Bus Licence (Class LR) is highly regarded.
* Knowledge and application of person‐centred preference‐driven philosophies.
* Three years' experience in the development and delivery of contemporary leisure and recreational programs within Aged Care is highly regarded.
* Demonstrated experience in the management of leisure and recreational staff.
