ARMAJUN ABORIGINAL HEALTH SERVICE – Inverell (Aboriginal Designated)
Armajun Aboriginal Health Service is looking to recruit a full-time, Quality & Work, Health and Safety (WHS) Administration Officer(Aboriginal Designated)
This position aims to assist with Armajun Aboriginal Health Service Quality Plan, to ensure is is developed and implemented, essential indicators monitored, and data available for reporting requirements in consultation with the organisation's staff.

Selection Criteria
Essential:
1. Person of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
2. Demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal Organisations in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner.
3. Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with all staff.
4. Good working knowledge in use of office based Microsoft software.
5. Willingness to enroll in and complete a cert IV in Work, Health and Safety or similar course which includes policy writing(if not already obtained)
6. Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise.
7. Current First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
8. Current paid working with children check and ability to obtain a National police check
9. Current driver's license, minimum of Class "C" or equivalent.
Desirable:
* Experience in evaluation, data management, action planning and report writing.
* Experience in a health related or quality improvement field.
* An understanding and/or willingness or learn about primary health care service operations, and to write appropriate policies and procedures to reflect new approaches to the way things are done
