Job Description
* Manage end‐to‐end fortnightly payroll for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Work with the external payroll provider to meet SLAs and resolve escalations
* Process adjustments, terminations, workers compensation and complex leave calculations
* Ensure compliance with Fair Work, PAYG, superannuation, taxation and statutory reporting requirements
* Maintain accurate payroll records and support month‐end/year‐end reporting and reconciliations
* Partner with Finance on GL postings and reconciliation activities
* Support annual salary reviews, bonus cycles, budgeting and forecasting through payroll reporting
* Oversee leave purchase, TOIL and benefits administration
* Manage workers compensation submissions, claims and insurance renewals
* Lead all payroll compliance activities, including audits and legislative/award updates
* Provide day‐to‐day leadership and coaching to one payroll team member
* Drive continuous improvement, streamline processes and support payroll system upgrades
* Deliver high‐quality support to HR, Finance and broader internal stakeholders
About You
* Experience in end‐to‐end payroll management within a complex, fast‐paced environment
* Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll legislation
* Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
* Experience leading or mentoring team members
* Strong stakeholder relationship‐building capability
