Job Overview

As a Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for building and leading the supply chain function to support the transition from research and development to manufacturing.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art R&D and Manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing supply chain strategy aligned with the company's growth and manufacturing plans, establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers and logistics partners, and reporting supply chain risks and opportunities to the leadership team.


Supply Chain Strategy

* Develop and implement supply chain strategy to support business growth and manufacturing plans;
* Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and logistics partners;
* Report supply chain risks and opportunities to the leadership team.


Vendor Management

* Lead vendor qualification, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure quality, compliance, and risk management;
* Negotiate commercial agreements and supply contracts with vendors;
* Mature procurement policies, systems, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.


Supply Chain Operations

* Oversee purchasing officer and day-to-day procurement activities to ensure continuity of supply;
* Manage supply planning and coordination with manufacturing, engineering, and finance teams;
* Balance hands-on procurement with leadership responsibilities, especially during high-demand or critical supplier negotiations.

Requirements for this position include a bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in supply chain management and/or operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in ERP systems, and the ability to think strategically and identify and mitigate risks.


Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field;
* Minimum 10 years' experience in supply chain management and/or operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools;
* Ability to think strategically and identify and mitigate risks.
