About Us
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Why this role matters
Across Central Australia and the Big Rivers region, homelessness is a complex and deeply human reality. Many people face unstable housing, limited access to services, and the compounding effects of social disadvantage.
We are in a period of significant growth across the Northern Territory, and our homelessness services have expanded in both reach and impact. This new Regional Manager role has been created to strengthen that growth and to ensure communities receive the consistent, high‑quality support they deserve. It is an exciting moment to join us. You will step into a role with real influence, genuine autonomy, and the opportunity to help shape the next chapter of homelessness responses across Alice Springs, Katherine, and surrounding communities.
If you are motivated by purpose and energised by the chance to build something meaningful, this is a rare opportunity to lead with heart and create lasting change for people and communities.
