Maritime Engineering Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maritime Engineer to join our team in Perth and support our Maritime Sustainment programs.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a defence engineering professional to deliver innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions for maritime sustainment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring engineering governance, safety, certification, and technical assurance of sustainment activities across the specified project fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maritime Engineering Management: Ensure engineering governance, safety, certification, and technical assurance of sustainment activities.
* Naval Architecture: Develop and implement vessel design, performance analysis, and structural engineering solutions.
* Ship Systems Integration: Design and integrate electrical, mechanical, and propulsion systems.
* Electrical Engineers: Develop electrical systems, including navigation, communication, and power distribution.
* Mechanical Engineers: Design and develop mechanical systems, such as engines, pumps, and HVAC.
* Systems Engineers: Develop comprehensive understanding of complex systems engineering processes and methodologies.
* Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialists: Expertise in ILS principles, including reliability-centered maintenance, supply chain management, and life cycle support.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a defence engineering professional, ideally within the maritime sector.
* Strong background in one of the engineering disciplines listed above.
* Able to contribute to delivering innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions.
* Australian Baseline Defence Security Clearance or above.
