If you are an undergraduate Engineering or Project Management student looking to jump-start your career, they are offering a 13-month full-time internship based at the Brisbane office.
This is a unique opportunity to gain skills and knowledge while you are working full time commencing 27th January 2025. The Mining Intern is responsible for supporting the Major Accounts Leader – Mining in HHP Project Management and Execution and supporting the Industrial Mining team in the delivery of key projects.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Provide support in the development of project plans and timelines to achieve the project plan deliverables and schedule.
* Support Different work streams in achieving project timelines and deliverables.
* Support business requests for information on operational efficiency.
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports on Project Performance.
* Maintenance of Gantt Charts and Project details.
About you
Qualifications:
To qualify for this undergraduate internship, it is essential that you:
* Are currently studying an Engineering or Project Management degree or similar discipline.
* Have between 1 and 8 units of study left to complete your undergraduate degree as of January 2025.
* Are available for the full 13 months and be willing to defer your studies for that duration.
To be successful in this role, you will possess skills/abilities or be able to perform:
* A sound understanding of Project Management.
* A highly analytical and data-minded approach.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as effectively as part of a team.
* Advanced MS Office skills, with the ability to learn other applications.
