We're building the future of campervan and motorhome booking technology across Australia and New Zealand. For the first time in our journey, we're recruiting a Head of Technology to lead our digital growth and product innovation roadmap.

Pay:
We offer a competitive full-time salary of $150,000 – $170,000 per annum + superannuation, depending on experience and capability.

What does the role involve?
You'll oversee RatPack's full technology roadmap — from our internal pricing platform (RatPack Rates) to automation tools that power our global customer experience.
You'll lead strategy, architecture, and execution — working closely with the founder and operational teams to deliver scalable, data-driven systems that give RatPack its competitive edge.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: ⌁ Overseeing development of RatPack's proprietary tech stack (pricing engine, CRM automations, dashboards, etc.)
⌁ Managing internal and external development resources
⌁ Designing and implementing scalable infrastructure and data systems
⌁ Driving integrations with suppliers, APIs, and third-party platforms (e.g. Zendesk, Salesforce, Stripe, Xero, etc.)
⌁ Building reporting and analytics systems to guide commercial decisions
⌁ Supporting innovation projects eligible for R&D incentives

What do we need from you?
⌁ 5+ years of experience leading software or technology projects (startup or SaaS experience ideal)
⌁ Strong understanding of APIs, data pipelines, automation, and system architecture
⌁ Ability to translate business needs into technical strategy
⌁ Hands-on capability with modern tools (e.g. JavaScript, Python, Google Cloud, or similar)
⌁ A passion for travel, technology, and building things that make life easier for both the team and the customer
