Senior Systems Administrator - Application Automation
Are you passionate about improving enterprise systems, driving automation and solving complex technical challenges? Redland City Council is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administrator - Application Automation to join our Application Management Team.
This senior, improvement‐focused role supports Council's enterprise application environment, with a strong focus on TechnologyOne. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, software vendors and project teams to deliver system improvements, automation initiatives and project‐based outcomes, including ERP‐related work. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the support, configuration and ongoing optimisation of Council's corporate applications and associated systems.
* Acting as an escalation point for complex and niche application issues, including liaising with software vendors as required.
* Administering technical and automation configurations across enterprise systems, including during upgrades and implementations.
* Developing and implementing automation and system improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
* Contributing to project‐based work across Information Management, including ERP‐related initiatives and post‐implementation improvements.
* Developing and maintaining technical documentation and knowledge resources.
Skills and experience:
* Proven experience installing, configuring and supporting enterprise applications in complex environments.
* Strong technical capability across client‐server, web‐based, SaaS and cloud platforms.
* Demonstrated ability to provide high‐level technical and user support within a medium to large organisation.
* Advanced analytical, troubleshooting and problem‐solving skills.
* Well‐developed understanding of contemporary and emerging information management technologies.
* Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, software vendors and project teams.

Eligibility
* You must have a relevant bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or significant demonstrable industry experience in enterprise systems administration and automation.
