Sparrow XPL is on the lookout for a game-changing General Manager – Systems & Customer Operations to join our leadership team from July 1st. This is not your typical ops role. We're building something special — a smart, tech-led 4PL that brings real-time visibility, automated exception handling, and data-driven logistics strategy to life for our clients. Your mission? Be the engine room that makes it all run smoothly.
What you'll own:
* Management of our MachShip (freight) and Zoho (CRM/support) platforms
* Seamless onboarding experiences for new clients
* Leading our customer support team to deliver above-and-beyond service
* Overseeing invoicing, billing, and system admin
* Management of offshore resources
* Handling the commercial side : procurement of freight rates, service performance analysis
* Partnering with the CEO and CTO to develop in-house tools that drive scale and efficiency
What we're looking for:
* Deep experience in freight ops, transport systems, or 4PL/3PL environments
* Strong background in systems like MachShip, Zoho, or similar TMS/CRM tools
* Leadership in customer-facing teams, with a knack for simplifying complexity
* Commercial acumen — procurement, rate benchmarking, and invoice oversight
* Collaborative mindset — you’ll work directly with our exec team to shape our next chapter
