Morning Gardeners needed: Canterbury-Bankstown & Inner West
Canterbury City Community Centre (4Cs) – Ashbury NSW
Who?
Canterbury Community Centre's Garden Care Service creates low maintenance gardens for elderly residents so that they can continue to live independently at home.
Our goal is always access and safety - volunteers help us to achieve this by working together in a team.
How?
Experienced and friendly Garden Care workers will guide you with weeding, mulching, pruning and making the garden safe, accessible and tidy.
When?
Weekday mornings.
Teams commence work from 9am and finish at 12pm Mondays to Fridays.
Afternoon work may also be available 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
Where?
We work in gardens in suburbs across the Inner West and Canterbury Bankstown local government areas.
Who/When can I volunteer?
If you're reliable, available and interested in gardening and being outside, we would love to have you join us and commit to at least once a week/fortnight or month.
You would need to be able to transport yourself to and from the gardens.
