Our Client is a private investment group based in Brisbane.
We own and manage a group of agricultural businesses, including sheep and chicken farming, coffee roasting and distribution, and industrial tools and technology.

About the Role
We’re hiring a Bookkeeper (Finance Officer/Accounts Officer) to support the financial operations. This is a newly created part-time role due to growth, reporting to the Financial Controller. You\'ll work from home with occasional in-person team catch-ups.
In this role, you’ll be:
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Processing payroll
Reconciling bank accounts and general ledger accounts
Monitoring and reporting on cash flow
Preparing BAS and IAS
Supporting month-end and year-end reporting
Managing the finance inbox and admin support
Providing ad-hoc assistance to Directors
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
A Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (minimum)
At least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounts experience
Experience using Xero
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
Robust communication and organisational skills
High attention to detail and the ability to self-manage
A positive, can-do attitude and team spirit
Proven ability to manage finances across multiple businesses will be highly regarded!
