Role Overview
We are seeking two talented individuals to join our growing pharmaceutical research and development team in Sydney. These roles will be key contributors to the development and implementation of display screening techniques to macrocyclic peptide drug discovery.
Job Description:
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, utilizing their skills and expertise to drive innovation and progress. They will be part of a dynamic and collaborative team, working closely with experienced scientists to develop and implement new strategies for drug discovery.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement display screening techniques for macrocyclic peptide drug discovery
* Contribute to the design and execution of experiments to identify and optimize lead compounds
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate results into larger project objectives
* Analyze and interpret data to inform research decisions and strategy
Requirements:
To be successful in these roles, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
* BSc (Hons) in chemical or life sciences with laboratory experience in molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, structural biology or a related field
* Basic knowledge of molecular biological techniques (PCR, DNA sequencing, nucleic acid and/or protein (bio)chemistry techniques, etc)
* Previous experience with FPLC and/or other chromatographic techniques
* Excellent organisational skills
* A critical thinker with strong attention to detail
