Travel Survey Face to Face Interviewer - La Trobe
Ipsos, Australia's leading Social Research company, is currently conducting the Victorian Integrated Survey of Travel & Activity (VISTA).
Interviewing across the greater La Trobe region allows you to explore the area.
To make the VISTA project a success, we are looking for a team of committed casual field interviewers.
In this role, you will undertake the recruitment of selected households for the VISTA research study for a 3 month period.
As a member of the team, you will play a vital role in the delivery and collection of self-complete travel surveys on behalf of the Victorian Gov't, around the Greater La Trobe region.
This study has already been successfully running for 15 years in Victoria.
You will be collecting valuable data in locations all over the Greater La Trobe area.
Paid training will be provided and there will be potential for high achievers to be trained in supervisory positions.
There may also be opportunities for those with high availability to work on other projects in parallel with the VISTA project.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
To be available to work Saturday & Sunday or Sunday & Tuesday with additional work available.
Available for project length (2nd Feb - 4th May).
Have a mobile phone, a current driver's licence, and the right to work in Australia.
Be confident and comfortable approaching households to introduce the survey.
Be fluent in English and have good communication skills.
Be well presented and reliable.
Have access to a reliable vehicle and enjoy driving.
Sales, Field or Census interviewing experience would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.
Hourly rate: $***** per hour for fieldwork.
Kilometres travelled paid at $0.98 per km.
Fully paid training.
Approximately ***** hours per week (this will vary from week to week).
