Role Description
We are seeking a Workday Functional Consultant with extensive experience in Workday Finance modules (FDM, Procure‐to‐pay, Order‐to‐cash, Record‐to‐report etc.) and a proven track‐record of successful full‐life‐lifecycle implementations, and a strong understanding of core financial business processes.
As a Lead Functional Consultant, you will support different Workday modules on both Business As Usual (BAU) and Implementation Projects. This role requires a self‐motivated individual who can work independently and collaborate effectively with a diverse project team and client stakeholders.
You will lead support and project activities related to Workday Application Maintenance, Transition, validating requirements with product offerings, and working with relevant stakeholders for product customization requests. You will play an important role in creating the security strategy, execution and maintenance in support of the Workday Finance application.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Work closely with business to gather, understand, and analyze requirements. Demonstrate configurations using prototyping, unit test the processes, and provide subject‐matter expertise on key business process decisions.
* Experience in BP configurations / changes, troubleshooting data issues / corrections, Workday reporting and analytics, and security configurations and changes.
* Manage and run Workday major release update feature analysis, testing and coordination with business for deployment.
* Ability to identify improvement opportunities for business and implement changes.
Technical Expertise & Requirements
* At least 10‐12 years of overall IT experience.
* 4‐6 years of relevant experience in Workday Finance domain, particularly in Workday functional configuration across key Workday financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Budgeting and Planning, Projects, Grants, Business Assets and Inventory.
* Should have good experience with basic and advanced security. Should have basic technical knowledge.
* Experience managing medium‐sized team would be a plus.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
