Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical systems and equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in industrial machinery, control systems, and plant equipment.
* Test, inspect, and ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant industry standards.
* Minimize downtime by responding promptly to electrical breakdowns and performing efficient repairs.
* Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and recommend system improvements for enhanced performance and reliability.
* Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize system uptime and productivity.
* Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
* Ensure adherence to workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements:
* Electrical trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent).
* Current Electrical License for Queensland.
* Proven experience as a maintenance electrician, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels.
* Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* A commitment to safety and compliance with industry regulations.
* Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns when necessary.
