Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and repair vehicles in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols
* Ensure accurate records and documentation of work performed
* Liaise with brigade members regarding proposed work and work performed
* Maintain reporting to the Officer-in-Charge on maintenance, administrative and technical matters
* Ensure that industrial safety standards are observed
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A motor mechanic qualification
* A heavy rigid driver's license (or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe)
* The skills and ability to maintain safety at an incident scene and render assistance to others (First Aid L2 or the ability to obtain it within a specified timeframe)
