About the role
We are seeking 2 friendly Medical Receptionists to join our dedicated team at Healthology Medical Centre in Rokeby, TAS on a part time/casual basis, 2-4 days per week. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
Main Responsibilities
* Greeting patients and visitors with a warm and professional manner
* Handling patient inquiries and booking appointments & managing referrals
* Maintaining accurate patient records and medical histories
* Coordinating the flow of patients through the clinic
* Assisting with administrative tasks as required
* Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive clinic environment
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a medical reception is preferred; however, we are also open to individuals who are interested in building a career in the healthcare industry.
* 10-30 hours per week plus coverage for staff leave
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
* Experience with Best Practice medical practice management software is an advantage
* A friendly, professional and empathetic demeanour
* A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
