The Role – What You'll Be Doing
As an Insurance Repair Estimator / Supervisor, you'll:
Conduct site inspections to assess damage and quantify repair requirements
Prepare detailed scopes of work and cost estimates for insurance repair jobs
Liaise with insurers, policyholders, and subcontractors/trades to coordinate the repair process
Plan, schedule, and supervise on-site works, ensuring high-quality outcomes
Monitor and manage job progress, including variations, timelines, and budget
Uphold WHS standards and ensure all site safety requirements are met
Act as a client-facing representative – communicate effectively with homeowners and stakeholders, keeping them informed and engaged
Use our estimating and project-management software to track and report on KPIs
What We're Looking For – Key Requirements
Proven experience in estimating and supervising repair works (insurance repair experience is highly desirable)
Valid White Card (or equivalent construction safety certification)
Experience interpreting scopes of works and working with building codes and regulations
Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management skills
Proficiency in technology, including mobile devices, estimating software, and project management tools
Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering quality
(Preferable) A Site Supervisor licence, depending on the regional regulatory requirements
