About the Role Reporting to the Site Manager, the Quality Manager will lead the site’s Quality and Food Safety team, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements. You’ll play a key role in maintaining BRC/ISO accreditation, driving continuous improvement, and supporting the delivery of safe, consistent, and high‑quality products to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the site Quality and Food Safety team
- Maintain and continuously improve HACCP, QA, and food safety systems
- Manage site audits (internal, external, and customer) and drive corrective actions
- Partner with operations and NPD to ensure quality standards are met at every stage of production
- Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive actions
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and customer requirements
About You
- Degree qualified in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in a senior Quality or Technical role within food manufacturing
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRC, or ISO22000 systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for driving best practice and continuous improvement
