The organisation
people2people is proudly partnered with a global organisation located in Brisbane's southern suburbs to recruit an HSE / Facilities Officer for a critical operational site. As part of a company that designs, delivers, maintains and supports complex systems and equipment, you will join a high‑performing, focused team committed to excellence.
The role
Reporting to the HSE / Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing all EH&S activities while ensuring equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently. A core focus of the role is driving a zero‑LTI environment and fostering a strong safety culture across site operations. You will also coordinate key activities to support and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 accreditations.
Selection criteria
* Formal WHS / HSE qualification with demonstrated hands‑on experience
* Strong knowledge of WHS statutory frameworks and compliance obligations
* Experience working with hazardous chemicals (highly advantageous)
* Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and strong time‑management capability
* Facilities coordination and maintenance experience, including contractor management
* Have a current, or have ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance (NV1) essential
