About the job
Reporting to the Training Supervisor, you will be using your passion for your field of expertise, your knowledge and your skills to train the next generation of high-quality workers.
The workplace location for this position is flexible, applicants in both Devonport and Launceston are encouraged to apply.
Supporting and assessing workplace learners
Providing engaging training to a mixed cohort of learners
Completing training and assessment documentation according to organisational policies and procedures
Record keeping and maintaining learner paperwork in line with compliance regulations
Participating in validation and moderation activities
To be successful in this position you will possess:
Experience and credibility within the Aged Care, Disability and/or Community Services sectors
TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or ability and willingness to obtain
Trauma, Autism and Mental Health experience is of advantage
Experience working with individuals who may be disengaged from study or employment
The initiative, attitude and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging and changing environment
Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and life experience
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to learn new software applications required to perform the role
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
A demonstrated ability, commitment and attitude to effective communication and liaison with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to travel around the state as required
