Description
The Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) is Tasmania's largest hospital and major referral centre. The RHH is a major clinical teaching and research centre and collaborates with the University of Tasmania and other institutions.
Nuclear Medicine is part of the Medical Imaging Department at RHH, and we're equipped with current dual- and single‐headed gamma cameras, as well as a dedicated CZT cardiac SPECT scanner from Spectrum Dynamics. Our PET/CT scanner is a digital GE Discovery MI Gen 2.
The Staff Specialist – Nuclear Medicine will:
* hold specialist registration
* hold Australian credentialling in Nuclear Medicine, Therapy and PET
* provide clinical services of the highest possible standard to Nuclear Medicine patients
* actively pursue improved outcomes for Nuclear Medicine patients by participating in teaching and research relevant to Nuclear Medicine
* be involved in multidisciplinary meetings
Details of appointment: permanent part‐time day work (with on‐call), working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
