Home and Community Support Worker
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Home and Community Support Worker to provide essential services to our clients.
* Provide home help services, including:
* General housekeeping and making beds
* Cleaning, mopping, and vacuuming floors
* Washing, folding, and ironing laundry
* Meal preparation and grocery shopping
You will also be providing personal care services, including:
* Getting clients out of bed, showered, and dressed for the day
* Assisting clients to take their medications
* Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
* Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
* Providing social and emotional support
* Providing transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
* Helping family carers to have a break or an opportunity to do other things

To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A qualification in aged care or a related field
* Experience working with older adults and people with disabilities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
