What you will be Doing
In this role you will be responsible for the following duties, carry out the installation, maintenance, and replacement of power poles, conductors, and associated electrical equipment. Perform low and high voltage switching, testing, fault finding, and network isolation under supervision or within authorisation levels. Conduct inspections, testing, and maintenance of distribution assets in accordance with Horizon Power and NG Services standards. Respond to faults and outages to restore supply safely and efficiently. Undertake disconnection/reconnection work for customer installations in line with network and safety requirements.
What you will need
* Certificate III in ESI Distribution Overhead (Essential)
* High Risk Work Licence EWP (WP class)
* Experience in streetlight repair and replacement
* Working at Heights certification
* C2 Crane Licence highly regarded
* HR Licence desirable (minimum MR required) or willingness to obtain
* Construction White Card
* Current First Aid & CPR certification
