We're seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee a network of retail/automotive stores across the Gold Coast or Brisbane, working closely with a high-performing team of Store Managers to drive growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
This is a key leadership position where you'll have the autonomy to shape your region's performance, culture, and customer impact, while being supported by an organisation that values people, purpose, and progress.
About the Role
As an Operations Manager, you'll lead a portfolio of stores with up to 12 Store Managers reporting to you. Your focus will be on building strong, empowered teams that deliver results and consistently elevate the customer experience.
Your Role
* Lead & Empower | Oversee and mentor 10-12 Store Managers, fostering their leadership skills and empowering them to make independent decisions.
* Drive Performance | Monitor and analyse store performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, retention, customer growth, and financial KPIs.
* Build Relationships | Cultivate strong, meaningful relationships with Store Managers and their teams, gaining insight into their needs and challenges, and providing ongoing support.
* Strategic Alignment | Align store operations with business strategic objectives, targets and operational performance standards, ensuring consistency across all locations.
* Drive Culture | Contribute to a positive, high-performing work culture that motivates and focuses the team on achieving long-term success and driving retention.
About You
* Experience as a multi-site manager or similar in a fast-paced retail/automotive environment
* Proven ability to lead, coach and develop people to exceed performance goals
* Strong financial and commercial acumen—comfortable managing budgets and interpreting data
* A high level of emotional intelligence and the ability to engage, influence and inspire teams
* A fast-paced mindset with a natural ability to problem solve and make informed decisions
* Enthusiasm for achieving results and making a meaningful impact
* A current driver's license and flexibility to travel within your region
