About The Role
Based in the regional city of Orange, NSW, Orange Health Service is a level 4 trauma centre with five operating theatres, one procedural room, and a 10-bay recovery unit. It serves as the major referral centre for Western NSW District, covering a range of surgical specialties including orthopaedics, trauma, general surgery, upper GI, endoscopy, urology, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecology, and ophthalmology.
This role offers an opportunity to advance your leadership skills within Orange Hospital’s dynamic team of Nurse Unit Managers, providing a supportive network for professional development.
You will lead and support theatre staff in daily operations such as rostering, resource management, problem-solving, and mentoring. Additionally, you will serve as a role model by upholding policies and delivering evidence-based, best-practice standards.
