Use your financial and commercial skills to support ambitious entrepreneurs
- Join a growing not for profit organisation that is a force for good
- Competitive salary + FBT benefits.
I'm partnering with a not-for-profit organisation that helps Indigenous-led enterprises by giving them advice, support and financial capital. Their purpose is to help grow Indigenous-led businesses and create economic prosperity for their communities across Australia.
Due to a scaling up of the fund's activities, my client is looking to appoint an experienced Analyst to assist the investment team in identifying, analysing and ultimately funding suitable Indigenous-led businesses.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced financial analyst that wants to leverage their strong financial and commercial skills and join an NFP organisation with exciting growth plans.
Although they prefer a full-time professional, they are happy to consider part-time options. They are also a flexible organisation that allows working from home a few days per week.
The salary on offer is competitive and based on experience. As you'll be working for an NFP, you will also benefit from fringe benefits tax deductions.
**Upon successful hire, you will be responsible for the following**:
- Developing investment proposals;
- Assisting entrepreneurs with building their business plans;
- Conducting financial and commercial due diligence;
- Performing ad-hoc financial modelling, analysis and forecasting;
- Assisting with developing new funds;
- Assessing the social return of investments made;
- Suggesting solutions to unlock new products and capital to support the Indigenous business sector;
- An undergraduate and/or post-grad qualification in business, commerce, economics, accounting or similar;
- 2-7 years of experience in corporate banking, fund management or corporate advisory;
- Experience in financial analysis, modelling, valuation, accounting, research, report writing and ideally, an understanding of financing;
- A current driver's licence;
- The ability to travel (not extensively);
- Excellent stakeholder management skills;
- Australian PR/Citizenship is required;
