Balance Mayfield Aquatics centre provides a variety of Learn to Swim programs tailored to individual needs, from beginners through to competition. Balance also provides school swimming programs and group bookings. Balance has an opportunity for a casual swimming instructor to join our experienced and passionate team. 
As part of The Wests Group recruitment and assessment process, all candidates progressing to the next stage will complete relevant due diligence and probity checks specific to the role. This includes, but is not limited to, a Criminal History Check, reference checks, and right to work verification via our company portal. All associated checks and costs will be facilitated by The Wests Group. 
About You 
The successful applicant will demonstrate high energy and passion for teaching. You will show leadership while teaching and be able to build strong relationships to role model and encourage students to try their best. With a flexible teaching style, you will accommodate students with different learning styles and requirements. Strong communication skills will help you update students and parents on progress and build relationships with schools and external organisations. You will maintain a Child Safe environment at all times. 
Certifications and Requirements 
Certifications required: Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety License, First Aid, CPR (yearly renewal) and Working with Children Check (WWCC).

Learn To Swim Class Times 
Monday – Friday: AM 8am–12pm; PM 2:30–6:30pm. Saturday & Sunday: AM 8am–12pm.
