The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused CNC Operator / Production Operations Assistant to join our growing team in Kyneton.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this hands-on role plays an important part in ensuring our production runs smoothly, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. This position suits someone who takes pride in their work, follows processes accurately, and enjoys being part of a cohesive production team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently
* Load files, monitor production runs, and conduct quality checks
* Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules
* Troubleshoot minor machinery or process alerts and errors
* Maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the workday
* Assist the Operations Manager with day-to-day production tasks as required
* Contribute to a safe, clean, and organised work environment

The Ideal Candidate

* Previous experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing, cabinet making, or joinery environment (preferred but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
* Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
* Reliable, hardworking, and committed to full-time work
* Able to work well as part of a small, supportive team

Additional Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and provide a police clearance. Applicants should reside in, or near, Kyneton.
