The Canberra Health Services (CHS) Pharmacy Department has one position open for the Pharmacist Level 1 – Operations (On Site, Permanent).

You will rotate across key operational areas including dispensary, manufacturing, and distribution services—building the essential skills that underpin high‐quality hospital pharmacy practice.

Comprehensive Operational Experience

Gain hands‐on experience across a wide range of services, including inpatient and outpatient dispensing, aseptic and non‐sterile compounding, and distribution systems. Work with automation and robotics to support medicine supply across hospital and community settings.

• A strong foundation in hospital pharmacy operations and systems
• Experience across dispensing, compounding (including aseptic and cytotoxic), and outpatient services

The position is offered to work on site at The Canberra Hospital and includes participation in shift work, including evenings, weekends and public holidays across CHS sites. Applicants must be able to work these shifts. Flexible working arrangements, including part time options, may be considered in line with the ACT Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement.
