Your Role as a Community Support Assistant
As a Community Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping older people remain living safely and independently in their own homes.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Social support and companionship
* Personal care assistance
* Medication assistance
* Meal preparation
* Light domestic duties
You will support clients within their homes and local communities, building trusted relationships and delivering care that truly makes a difference.
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting older Australians. You will bring:
* A genuine passion for aged care, with relevant experience
* Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Availability between 8:00am–4:00pm, working minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility for occasional fill-in shifts
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* A Queensland Open Driver's Licence, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance, and a mobile phone
* A National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
