Design & Build are once again proud to be representing one of our national clients in their search for a Contract Administrator. Having demonstrated expertise for more than 30 years throughout Australia in commercial construction they've recognized strong growth in Adelaide and as such are looking to expand their team.
Key Responsibilities
* Procurement Support: Play a crucial role in supporting the procurement strategy to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Variation Management: Manage both Head and Subcontract variations to maintain smooth operations.
* Claims Process: Oversee the subcontractor and supplier claims process, ensuring alignment with contract and system protocols.
* Contract Finalization: Handle tasks such as defect management, manual creation, and variation tracking.
* Reporting: Collaborate with the team to compile monthly reports, helping us stay on track and achieve project goals.
About You
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project-based contract and financial administration, particularly in major building developments. You'll be a self-motivated individual who thrives in a close-knit team environment and possesses the resilience to tackle any challenges that come your way.
Requirements
* A completed Construction Degree.
* 2-5 years Contract Administrator experience on commercial construction experience
* Experience working on multi-storey projects is highly desirable
* Familiarity with construction software like CHEOPS, Aconex, or similar.
