About the Role
Under the general direction of the Venue Manager, and within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group and local hotel policies and procedures, ensure the smooth conduct of the shift through customer focused service delivery and effective staff supervision; lead seamless guest experience and provide support to colleagues within the department. Coordinate with all departments in the hotel.
Base rate $29.96 + penalties + loading
What we need from you
* Be a warm welcome that ensures a memorable guest experience
* Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone
* Be a trusted contact for all guests, help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and advise management when necessary
* Adhere to policies for guidelines on presentation, grooming and punctuality
* Develop and maintain cohesive working relationships within immediate team, and wider hotel team
* Willing and able to work a flexible roster
* Work with management in the preparation and management of the department budget and is aware of financial targets
