Wyndham City is seeking a Talent Acquisition Officer to provide high‑quality administrative and operational support across the permanent, contract and agency recruitment lifecycle. This role supports the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers and external partners to ensure efficient recruitment processes, compliance and positive stakeholder experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and functional support to the Talent Acquisition team in line with Council policies and procedures.
* Monitor the use of temporary employment services, analyse market trends and provide regular information to management.
* Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, responding to enquiries and supporting all recruitment activities.
* Undertake data entry, monitoring and reporting, including providing recommendations to support operational and cost efficiencies.
* Monitor agency performance to ensure alignment with Wyndham City’s service standards.
* Ensure all engagements are vetted and compliant with legislation and internal pre‑employment requirements.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Provide advice, guidance and training on recruitment processes, systems and policies.
* Support the implementation of new practices, system improvements and Talent Acquisition projects.
* Support risk management practices in accordance with Wyndham’s Risk Management Policy
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline, or relevant experience.
* Experience in improving administrative processes and systems.
* Understanding of recruitment processes, temporary employment services and contract management requirements.
* Strong analytical, planning and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to produce, interpret and analyse reports.
* Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively.
* Ability to communicate clearly, gain cooperation from stakeholders and prepare written reports and correspondence.
* Understanding of relevant legislation, organisational policies, OHS and equal employment opportunity principles.
